zainsaeed.com stopped losing leads to Gmail's spam folder.

Zain Saeed — recipient of Fiverr's $1M+ in orders award — runs zainsaeed.com as his portfolio and consulting home base. Every enquiry lands via a WordPress lead form. When those emails silently landed in spam, so did the pipeline.

The challenge

The default WordPress wp_mail() call hands mail off to the server's local sendmail — no SPF, no DKIM alignment for the zainsaeed.com domain, and a From address that doesn't match the underlying host. For Zain that meant lead-form notifications hitting Gmail's spam folder on and off — enough to make every fresh enquiry a coin flip.

The obvious fix (a plugin that ships credentials for a third-party mailbox) trades one problem for another: now every failed enquiry is a support conversation with Google Workspace, and rotating an admin password quietly breaks the pipeline.

The fix

Zain installed SecureSMTP's WordPress plugin on zainsaeed.com. From the wp-admin dashboard it pointed every wp_mail() call through SecureSMTP's relay — DKIM signed on our verified sending domain, SPF-aligned, with an audit log of every send.

  • One click to route wp_mail — no theme edits, no wp-config secrets.
  • A merchant-visible log so bounced enquiries show up before the next lead does.
  • Domain-verified From address that clears Gmail's spam filter on first delivery.

The result

Since flipping the switch, zainsaeed.com lead-form notifications land in the inbox on first attempt — no more coin flip, no more missed pipeline. Zain also uses the SecureSMTP send log as an audit trail when a client asks "did you get my form?".

"My contact form runs my pipeline. I need every enquiry in my inbox, not in someone else's spam folder. SecureSMTP just works."
