1. Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing month. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of that month and then expires automatically. You will not be charged again.
2. Annual subscriptions — 14-day money-back guarantee
If you purchased an annual subscription and request a refund within 14 calendar days of the initial purchase, we will refund the full amount, less any taxes that have already been remitted to authorities.
After the 14-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you may request a pro-rated refund for unused months at our discretion. We typically grant pro-rated refunds in cases where a service issue cannot be resolved or where there is genuine hardship — write to us and explain.
3. Plan downgrades
If you downgrade from a paid plan to a lower-tier or Free plan, the unused portion of your current period is applied as a pro-rated credit toward your next billing cycle. We do not issue cash refunds for downgrades.
4. Free trial
Our free trial does not require a payment method. When the trial ends, your Account reverts to the Free plan automatically. No charges are made and no refund is needed.
5. Chargebacks
Please email support@securessmtp.com before initiating a chargeback. Almost every refund request can be handled directly and faster than a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may result in immediate Account suspension while we investigate, and recurring charge disputes are expensive for both sides.
6. Service-failure credits
If our Service experiences an outage that exceeds the uptime commitment in our Terms of Service, you may request a service credit applied to your next invoice. Service credits cap at the equivalent of one month’s fees per incident. Service credits are credits — not cash refunds.
7. Taxes
Refunds are inclusive of any taxes we collected on the original transaction (e.g. UAE VAT, EU VAT-MOSS). Customs duties, currency-conversion fees, or other charges levied by your bank or government are not refundable by us.
8. Processing time
Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Stripe. From our side, the refund is issued the same business day; your bank typically posts it within 5–10 business days.
