Getting started with SecureSMTP

A complete 4-step walkthrough — from creating your account to seeing data flow into the dashboard. Most people are up and running in under five minutes.

  1. 1

    Sign up at securessmtp.com/signup

Head to securessmtp.com/signup. You can register with email + password, or click Continue with Google to use your existing Google account — the same account works for both flows on every future login.

The free tier never expires and doesn’t need a credit card. It covers 100 form submissions/month and basic wp_mail relay — enough to launch a small site or test the plugin on a staging environment.

Tip: using Google sign-in saves you a password and lets you switch between devices instantly. We never email-market sign-ins.
  2. 2

Decide which feature to start with

SecureSMTP has two product areas. They share one account and one bill — both run through the same WordPress plugin.

    SecureSMTP

Replace Contact Form 7 or WPForms — better spam protection and reliable mail delivery. Requires the WordPress plugin.

    Email Delivery

Route every WordPress email through SecureSMTP so it actually reaches the inbox. Same plugin as Forms — DKIM optional.

You don’t have to pick once and commit — turning one on never disables another. Most users start with Forms because the install is fastest (one zip, one API key), then turn on Email Delivery once their domain DKIM is set up.

  3. 3

Verify your site or install the plugin

Installing the plugin and pasting one API key is the only step that takes longer than 30 seconds:

    1. Open /app/forms/sites and click Add site.
    2. Paste your WordPress site URL (e.g. https://acme.com). SecureSMTP generates a per-site API key.
    3. Download the WordPress plugin from the same screen.
    4. In WordPress: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, pick the zip, Activate.
    5. In WordPress: QCS Forms → Settings, paste the API key, click Save and test connection.

When the connection succeeds you’ll see a green Connected to SecureSMTP banner in your WordPress admin. The detailed walkthrough — with screenshots — lives at /help/plugin-install.

  4. 4

    Open your dashboard

Everything lives at securessmtp.com/app. The sidebar groups your tools by feature:

Within ~1 second of someone submitting a form, the data lands in the dashboard. Submissions also trigger an email notification — see /help/email-delivery for delivery details.
